WELCOME TO GPSFIA:
There are many things that the Georgia Public Safety Fire Investigator's Association can help you, the public safety fire investigator, with. We can help you network with leaders in the field of fire investigations, keep you informed with the latest trends in fire/arson investigations, and help provide you with training to keep your skills and certifications up to date.
The GPSFIA is a Georgia Non-Profit Corporation and is a 501(c)(3) Organization.
The GPSFIA is not a chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) but we do support the educational programs provided by both the IAAI and the Georgia Fire Investigator's Association.

about GPSFIA:
The goal of the Georgia Public Safety Fire Investigator’s Association is to promote the free exchange of intelligence and information sharing among fire, police, and other public safety fire investigators.
The GPSFIA will encourage through training and education the development of new laws, codes, and policies that will aid public fire investigators in the arrest and prosecution of individuals suspected of committing arson crimes.
Also the GPSFIA seeks to promote the development of fire and arson prevention programs, proper fire investigation of fire related incidents, and applying other related investigative techniques through progressive programs of education, public relations, research and investigator certification.
